Sen. Cruz to Attend Opening of U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem
HOUSTON, Texas - U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), along with Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), Mike Lee (R-Utah), and Dean Heller (R-Nev.), will be attending the Monday opening of the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem. Sen. Cruz has long called for the United States to move its embassy to Jerusalem, in recognition that Jerusalem is the capital of one of our closest and most cherished allies in the world. While in Israel, the senators will also meet with senior Israeli government officials to discuss counter-terrorism and national security issues affecting the United States and Israel.
