Sen. Cruz Delivers Floor Speech on Bill Honoring Cuban Dissident, Sen. Booker Objects

Earlier today, U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) took to the floor of the United States senate, seeking unanimous consent to honor Cuban dissident Oswaldo Payá by passing his bill to rename the street outside of the Cuban embassy in Washington, D.C. as “Oswaldo Payá Way." Despite previously voting for this bill, Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) objected.
