HOUSTON, Texas- On Friday, U.S. Sen. Following the storm's landfall in Texas Friday night, the senator urged all Texans to continue to heed warnings and evacuation notices.
"Hurricane Harvey made landfall last night in the vicinity of Rockport and Port Aransas, and early reports indicate extensive damage in those areas. "My office continues to be in close contact with Gov. Abbott, FEMA, and local officials on the ground leading the response to this storm.
