Sen. Cruz Visits Ronald McDonald House and Memorial Hermann Hospital

Tours facilities and meets with patients, families, and health care leaders

U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) yesterday visited the Ronald McDonald House (RMH) and The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research (TIRR) Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. While visiting RMH Houston, Sen. Cruz met with leadership to discuss their operations, toured the facility and visited with families. During his visit at Memorial Hermann, he met with executives from the Memorial Hermann Health System, toured the TIRR Memorial Hermann facility and met with patients being treated.

“It was an honor to visit the Holcombe House and TIRR Memorial Hermann Hospital,” Sen. Cruz said. “These incredible organizations provide tremendous care and compassion to patients and their families, and Texans are grateful to have institutions committed to the best possible care for them and their families. I will continue to work with industry leaders and health care providers throughout the state, as well as my colleagues in Congress to reduce the burdens from Washington, expand the number and quality of health care choices and empower patients and their doctors.”
