FACT CHECK // Democrats Have Already Called 17 Witnesses and Still Can't Prove Their Case

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Democrats and members of the mainstream media are lighting their hair on fire claiming that it is crucial the Senate hear from additional witnesses.

The House has already heard from 17 witnesses. And they still can't prove their case.

As Sen. Cruz said on 'Hannity' last night:

"Enough already. Move on. On Friday, I'm going to vote that we don't need any more witnesses. With 17 witnesses in the House, we've heard all the evidence. The House Managers have failed."

There is no need for the Senate to call additional witnesses and there is more than enough evidence to reject these Articles on the merits. If the Senate decides to call witnesses, however, Sen. Cruz is leading the fight to make sure the process is fair.
