Sen. Cruz Applauds Decision to Designate Arlington As Future Home for New Medal of Honor Museum

HOUSTON, Texas - U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) today issued the following statement applauding the decision to designate the City of Arlington, Texas, as the location for the new Medal of Honor Museum:

"This is great news for the City of Arlington and for Texas, home to 1.8 million veterans and active duty military. The Medal of Honor is our nation's highest and most prestigious military decoration, and I'm proud that the Lone Star state will host the museum to recognize all the men and women who received this distinction. These brave service members risked their lives to defend our freedom and our values, and Heidi and I join all of Texas, and the entire country, in commemorating them."
