Sen. Cruz Congratulates Dr. Jim Allison for Receiving Nobel Prize

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) today congratulated Jim Allison, Ph.D., chair of Immunology and executive director of the Immunotherapy Platform at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, for receiving the 2018 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. 

“This is an important day for the medical community in Texas and around the world,” Sen. Cruz said. “Congratulations to Dr. Allison for receiving the Nobel Prize for his groundbreaking discoveries and innovative approach to cancer treatment.
