Sen. Cruz Meets With Amarillo Chamber of Commerce

Discusses victories achieved in 2017, his priorities for 2018, and the pressing issues facing Panhandle job creators

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) today met with members of the Amarillo Chamber of Commerce during their annual ‘DC Days’ fly-in. There he discussed the victories achieved in the new Congress, including massive tax cuts and full funding for the military, his priorities for 2018, and the pressing issues facing businesses in the Panhandle and across the Lone Star State.

"The men and women of the Amarillo Chamber of Commerce work tirelessly to promote the interests of their fellow job creators and community leaders, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to meet with them today here in our Nation’s capital,” Sen Cruz said. “Since I was elected to the Senate, my number one priority has been focused on expanding economic opportunity for every Texan. And the reason is simple - that is the number one priority of Texans from the Panhandle to the Rio Grande.”
