“The last several weeks have been hard. They’ve been hard for Houston. I’m a Houstonian. It’s hard seeing your city underwater. Seeing your neighbors hurting. But it’s also inspiring to see Texans helping each other.’ Today Senator Ted Cruz made stops in Meyerland and Bellaire to survey the storm damage. He met with people at the United Orthodox Synagogues of Houston which was heavily damaged. He also met with a number of flood victims who are still trying to put their homes back together.”
