Sen. Cruz Visits Mary Kay Inc., Discusses Job Creation and Entrepreneurship

"My number-one priority in the Senate continues to be focused on pursuing policies that expand opportunity for Texans"

ADDISON, Texas - U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) today visited the global headquarters of Mary Kay Inc. in Addison, Texas, where he spoke with employees and executives about his efforts to help promote the creation of more good-paying jobs for hardworking Texans across the Lone Star State.

"It's an honor to be in Addison today," Sen. Cruz said. "For over 50 years, Mary Kay Inc. has worked to empower independent business owners with the tools necessary to achieve economic success. From offering five products in a boutique in Dallas, to now offering more than 200 products in 35 countries, Mary Kay is yet another powerful example of Texas' economic success story. Here in Texas, we understand it's the small businesses and entrepreneurs that create jobs and expand economic growth. My number-one priority in the Senate continues to be focused on pursuing policies that expand opportunity for Texans, so that they can provide for their families and work to achieve the American dream. I am proud of the work you all have done in providing good-paying jobs to hardworking men and women in this state and across the globe, and am grateful for the opportunity to meet with Mary Kay employees today."
